The Walking Dead: Season Three is set to launch this November according to the developer and publisher Telltale Games announced at its PAX panel earlier today. This new season is set to be a few years after Season 2 and introduces a new companion for Clementine named Javier.
You will be able to play both of these characters in the upcoming season. Executive producer Kevin Boyle says, “Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his–both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society’s collapse.”
You will be able to purchase a Season Pass Disc for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game as well as the digital copies of the games (this pass should give you access to DLC similar to that of other popular titles). You will need an internet connection for the game though as the disc only contains the first episode and you will need to download the rest in order to play. It is important to note that there was no talk of a specific release date for the first episode.
The game is expected to launch on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and mobile devices come November. The game will be very similar to the previous versions which have proven to be successful for the business and enjoyable for the players.
