A New Pokemon Go Update Has Been Released

Pokemon Go

A new update has been released for the popular mobile game Pokemon go. However, there doesn’t appear to be anything of interests and there are no new features.

This update which was outlined on their website, focuses on their seven-day “First PokeStop of the Day” challenge. Previously you were awarded 2.5k XP and other items for the Photo Disc when you visited a PokeStop Everyday. You will now receive a random evolution item as opposed to the previous reward.

Today’s Pokemon Go update also includes “minor text fixes,” though these were not detailed. They were likely fixes in grammar, spelling, and improvements to the overall language or certain descriptions within the app.  With the update applied, Pokemon Go should show up as version 0.59.1 on Android and 1.29.1 on iOS.

Pokemon Go is also expected to release more Legendary creatures this year. As well as the much anticipated and overdue trading feature.
